Ardee Flag Day

The Boyne Fishermen's Rescue Service will be in Ardee, Saturday 4th November from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. for the Annual Paul Mckenny Flag Day. 

We will have one of our rescue boats on display on the Main Street. 

This Flag day, has been a long standing collection event for the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue Service, involves members of the public putting a donation into one of our volunteer held buckets wherever they see one. 

The Flag day is a memorial flag day in remembrance of Paul Mckenny (6) who was lost in the river Dee on 9th November 1998 and has been held yearly on his anniversary.
