Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 07.51am.
Requesting assistance where a leisure vessel had it's moorings cut over night .
The vessel owner return to his boat this morning to find it missing and possible adrift.
We dispatched our inshore rescue boat which located the craft washed onto the river bank at Tom Rows Point due to the spring low tides.
Taken under tow by the inshore rescue boat.
Our Mobile 1 & 3 unit met with the owner & the vessel was inspected upon arrival.
A short time later the vessel was tied to the moorings and crew retuned to base to wash down and restage the equipment used.
On scene also Drogheda Gardai.
