Last night at 02.00 am while one of our mobile units was mobile within the Drogheda town boundaries.
The crew hand been flagged down to a person in a distress state who was on route to enter the water from the haymarket bridge.
Crew trained in Suicide Prevention quickly interacted with the casualty to maintain a stable situation.
Thankfully the crew managed to divert the casualty away from the area.
A short time later Drogheda Gardai arrived on scene where the casualty was handed over.
Crews returned to base, restaged and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
