* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 00.14am this morning.
Call recieved requesting assistance in a missing person search in the Drogheda area,it was feared the male may attempt to enter the water.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the launch of our inshore rescue boat to conduct a search on the river Boyne.
Our mobile 1, 2 & 3 unit was dispatched to check various locations and points of interest in and around the Drogheda boundaries area.
The inshore rescue boat commenced a search from the ramparts area down to Drogheda port house.
Shortly after 02:00am further updates where received and the unit was stood down.
Other units in attendance Drogheda Gardai and National Ambulance Service.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
