Call-out 04/07/2021 22/21 * Missing Person in Distress *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 10.30pm last night.
Call recieved requesting assistance with a missing person who was thought to be in a distressed state.
It was feared that the missing person may attempt to enter the river Boyne from an unknown location.
As crews were preparing for launch of the inshore rescue boat a stand down was received as the casualty had been located safely.
The Crews sanitized and restaged the equipment used ready for the next call out.
