Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 15:49pm yesterday afternoon.
Crews paged to assist a vehicle owner on Mornington beach at the fishmeals factory,with the potential of a environmental issue occurring.
The owner had became stuck while trying to recover there leisure craft with the incoming tide rising.
Our mobile 1 unit was dispatched to the location of the call ,on arrival the rear of the vehicle was partly submerged in the water.
Crew managed to tow the vehicle and owner to hard ground while informing the owner of the risks and safety factors.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
