* Underwater Search Unit Required*
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 18:09pm Tuesday evening.
Crews paged for assistance with a water based incident at a lake just outside of Newry.
Reports had been received of a person after entering the lake.
Due to the nature and details of the call our Underwater Search Unit was mobilised.
Consisting of Underwater divers , Coms Team and Dive unit boat , the convoy travelled by road in our mobile 1 & 3 unit.
The dive team conducted a number of dives within the designated area before night fall,unfortunately with no result.
An informative was received the next morning that the Search had been stood down.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
