*Person Attempting To Enter The Water *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 10:50am yesterday morning.
Crews paged to the reports of a person possibly attempting to enter the water from the viaduct bridge in Drogheda.
Luckily one of our inshore rescue boats was on the water at time of the paging system been activated.
The inshore rescue boat immediately diverted and arrived on scene within minutes of the pager activation.
A search of the area was conducted by the Inshore rescue boat ,while our scene crew arrived.
After a short period it was deemed a call with good intent.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
