* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 22:04pm on Sunday night.
Call recieved requesting assistance in the search of the river Boyne in Drogheda.
It was feared that a missing person had possibly entered the water following a number of incidents.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the immediate launch of our inshore rescue boat to conduct a search.
The search area focused on a number of high priority areas up river around the ramparts/ Dominic's park area.
We directed multiple land and Mobile units to check Various locations around the rivers edge.
A second inshore rescue boat was launched to assist in the search.
The crews searched areas from upper mell down river to the doners green.
Shortly before 11:05pm the team was stood down after more information was recieved and the person had been located.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
