** Missing Person **
At 05.38hrs this morning the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue & Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated to the reports of a missing person from the Drogheda area and it was feared they may have entered the river Boyne.
We dispatched our inshore rescue boat and 3 mobile units to conduct search operations.
The boat conducted a search from the Boyne Cable bridge to Baltray area.
3 mobile units checked local areas of interest including access points to water and areas throughout the Drogheda boundary.
Shortly before 07.00hrs the unit was stood down pending further information.
Crews were stood down returning to base to wash,restage and fuel the equipment.
