Tonight shortly before 20.45pm the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service was requested to assist on Mornington beach.
We dispatched one of our mobile units and crew to the location.
Crews were requested to restaged a number of life rings along the beach following a Incident where they had been removed from there housing.
A member of the public walking the beach had removed all the liferings from there housing and then thrown them into the water.
Crews managed to retrieve the liferings and restage all of the ones that had been removed.
We urge people not to tamper with these life saving devices,as a missing life ring can be a missing life.
