Call-out 16/06/2020 29/20
This evening at 17.13hrs the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated requesting the teams assistance with a leisure craft on the river Boyne.
Following multiple calls stating that there was concerns about the vessel and personnel on board.
We dispatched our inshore rescue boat and scene crew to the location of the incident.
As the inshore rescue boat arrived on scene crew ,they met with Gardai who got talking to the owners of the vessel and they were happy enough with the current situation.
Crews were stood down returning to base to wash,restage and fuel the equipment.
On scene also Drogheda Gardai.
