Today at 11.42am the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service was requested to assist at the mud flats at Mornington.
The call was to assist with the welfare of 2 members of the public on the mud flats who where near the rivers edge.
The concern was for the safety of the members of the public with the current tide ,soft mud and conditions.
We immediately dispatched our mobile 1 unit and crew to the location.
On arrival crew observed the members of the public on the mud flats.Crew proceeded to approach and check on the members of the public due to safety factors and concerns.
Following a conversation and reassurance the members of the public were grateful to see the response for the call of welfare.
All crews were stood down returning to the Boathouse to wash ,restage and Sanitize all the equipment used on todays call so it is ready for the next tasking.
