Call-out 25/09/2020 50/20 **Person attempting to enter water**
Yesterday evening at 16.20hrs the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging sytem was activated to reports of a possible female attempting to enter the water from the Fiddler Case Pier / D Hotel Area of the river Boyne.
We dispatched our inshore rescue boat immediately which arrived on scene within minutes,followed by our scene crews.
A search of the area was conducted both on land and water thankfully a short time later Drogheda Gardai managed to locate the female.
Crew stood down returning to base to wash and restage equipment in the event of another tasking.
