Call out 26/03/20 15/20
This morning at 06.10am the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated to the reports of a car in the water at Bettystown beach with a person inside of it.
We immediately dispatched our 3 mobile units containing crew and equipment to the location.
A search of bettystown beach was conducted with nothing to report.
The crews then checked from Mornington down to the railway bridge in Laytown with nothing to report.
The unit was stood down then as it was deemed a hoax call,as further information was released.
Crews returned back to base where they washed, refueled and restaged the equipment awaiting another call.
