* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 06:00am this morning.
Call recieved requesting assistance with a missing person as it was feared they may have entered the water or are on route to the Bridge of Peace area.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the immediate launch of our inshore rescue boat.
Our inshore rescue proceeded to the area of interest and conducted a search of the area followed by our mobile 1 & 3 units.
A search was conducted of the primary area while a secondary search occured from Flo Gas Up To the old bridge area.
Shortly before 08:10am following an incident update a stand down was given pending further information.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
On scene at this morning incident Drogheda Gardai and Drogheda Coast Guard.
