* Car on the river bank *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 12.14pm this afternoon.
The call requested assistance where a car had left the road near Tom Rows Point and managed to land on the river bank with the tide incoming.
It was unsure if the occupants of the car where still inside.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the launch of our inshore rescue boat to the scene.
Our mobile 1 unit was dispatched to the location of the incident with addiontal crew.
On arrival of the inshore rescue boat a primary search of the car was conducted . Thankfully there was nobody inside the car.
Other units in attendance Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
