National Suicide Prevention Day
Today we were delighted to be asked to attend the National Suicide Prevention Day Ceremony at St Peters Church.
Shoes / Boots lined the steps ,white doves were set free ,a short prayer ceremony and candle lighting occurred.
These all marked respect for those who had lost their lifes through suicide.
The Mayor of Drogheda ,Vice Mayor of Drogheda ,local councillors ,local services and members of the public all attended the event to raise awareness and respect.
We must always remember it's ok to ask and reach out for help during hard times.
